Owens Corning Roofing Contractor Network
The Owens Corning Roofing Contractor Network is composed of three levels. The first level, Contractor Rewards, is open to all contractors to join as desired. Once enrolled, contractors may be invited by an Owens Corning sales manager to become a Preferred Contractor if they meet certain basic requirements, including having operated under the same business name for at least two years and holding at least one million dollars in general liability insurance.
As a company grows, it has the opportunity to reach the Platinum level, which comes with several exclusive benefits and means they have reached a very high level of competence in the roofing industry that fewer than 1% of roofing contractors are able to achieve.
Platinum Preferred Contractor
This title is a select status Owens Corning only gives to their most distinguished contractors. Contractors who receive the Platinum Preferred Contractor status are those who have reached the top tier of a premier network of roofing professionals chosen specifically for their commitment to service, reliability, and professional craftsmanship. They meet the highest standards and satisfy the strictest requirements set by Owens Corning. Platinum Preferred Contractors are able to offer the most comprehensive warranties in the industry.
Hedrick Construction's Award
Hedrick Construction received the 2015 System Champion Award, which recognizes only one Platinum Preferred Contractor in each of nine regions throughout the United States. The winners are rewarded for system selling performance and percentage of Owens Corning accessory products sold.
The award demonstrates what separates Hedrick from many other roofing contractors. We look at a roof as an entire system that works to protect the home, as opposed to many other contractors who simply replace the shingles when "installing a new roof." While replacing the shingles alone may be the less expensive route in the short term, it is not the best practice.
